The First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta launched a new meetup for couples with children under the age of four.

In a Facebook post on Tuesday, June 28, the First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta said that its ministry in the 20s and 30s launched a new meetup for couples.

According to the church’s post, it invited the public to join on Sept. 10 at 10 a.m. to meet at the church playground for playtime.

The church said they must not pass up this chance to socialize with other families while their children burn off some much-needed energy.

Memorial Services

According to Atlanta's First Presbyterian Church, memorial services were held to offer emotional and spiritual support.

The First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta encouraged people who are suffering the loss of a loved one to get in touch with the Care Ministry if they need emotional support or assistance planning funerals and memorial services in a Facebook post.

In accordance with the church's posting, anybody with inquiries about services, receptions, or interment in the Memorial Garden may send an email to Rev. Rob Sparks at rsparks@firstpresatl.org.

Sunday School Alternatives

According to the First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta, Sunday school alternatives for kids and families will still be offered this summer.

On Saturday, June 18, the First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta disclosed via a Facebook post that it is still providing Sunday school choices for kids and families.

First through fifth graders are welcome to participate in fun activities at Messy Church starting at 10 a.m., including community service projects and more, according to the church's post.

According to the church, childcare would begin at 9 a.m. The start time for Godly Play is at 9:10 a.m. and continues until noon, along with a parent's class that begins at 10 a.m. in the library.

The First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta also mentioned the use of daycare for younger children.

The church said it was expecting the participants.

Assisting Entrepreneurs

The Epiphany was established by the First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta to support business owners.

According to a Facebook post from the First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta on June 15, The Epiphany supports business owners that provide creative solutions to societal problems.

The venture finalists for this year, according to the church's post, had just been announced.

Each will reportedly receive a start-up grant from the church and be paired with subject-matter specialists who will assist them with a range of problems unique to their companies, including business expansion, marketing, operations, resource planning, and networking.

According to the First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta, companies that complete the program will be eligible for additional investment from a fund of $200,000 after it is done.

The church claims that an epiphany is a creative form of giving that inspires people to think of fresh ways to spread the love of Christ.

The congregation remarked how enthusiastic they were about all of this year's initiatives.
