Glenn Memorial United Methodist Church (UMC) will conduct "Be Deeply Loved," a retreat for women, from Jan. 20 to 22, 2023. The church said all interested in attending the event must register and pay the necessary fees by Thursday, Dec. 15.
According to Glen Memorial UMC's events page, the retreat will be held at Forrest Hills Mountain Resort and Conference Center. The church aims to help women experience God's deep love and have the time to enjoy quiet, rest, and fellowship in the North Georgia mountains.
Participants will learn how to slow down, strengthen their relationship with God, and hear Him reveal their true identity and purpose along the journey. The announcement reads that women will also research the origins and applications of prayer beads.
Aside from this, you'll have plenty of time to unwind, play, have fun, go hiking, be creative, and eat delicious food. Kristen E. Vincent, an accomplished author, spiritual director, and retreat leader passionate about spiritual development and the use of prayer beads, will be the group's female leader, the page bared.
Prices range from $250 for a shared room to $325 per person for a single room. It includes dinner on both Friday and Saturday and breakfast on Saturday and Sunday.

Women's Small Group
Glenn Memorial United Methodist Church also encouraged females to join its small group on Wednesday, Dec. 14. The event will focus on Dr. Kate Bowler's new Advent devotional to reconnect with God and one another on the fireplace porch of Rev. Susan and hostess Cheryl Griffin, per the page.
