The Glenn Memorial United Methodist Church in Atlanta, Georgia, is set to host a women's retreat next year.

In a Facebook post on Saturday, Nov. 27, the Glenn Memorial United Methodist Church announced a women's retreat from Jan. 28 to 30, 2022.

The church encouraged women participants to join in the retreat, which will be held in Forrest Hills Mountain Resort and Conference Center.

The Glenn Memorial United Methodist Church said the retreat would be a refreshing weekend away with old and new friends.

The church said there would be a $100 deposit fee due on Oct. 31.

Glenn Youth Fellowship

According to the church's website, the Glenn Memorial United Methodist Church's Youth Fellowship will meet in the Youth and Activities Building on Sunday nights from 6:00 p.m.

Lunch, singing sessions, and fun games were part of the church's celebration for middle and high school students.

The church stated that they would have fellowship and learn more about loving God and neighbor as common for midnight gatherings.

According to the church, the worship service is an important part of Glenn Youth's identity.

Its mission is to further God's kingdom by loving and serving local and global neighbors, with a particular focus on local relationships.

Youth Development

The Glenn Youth is dedicated to providing a safe atmosphere for adolescents in grades 6 through 12 to be themselves, ask questions, have fun, and learn, according to the church's website.

The church understood the value of youth development and worked hard to establish a friendly environment. It also stressed the significance of developing mutually trusting connections.

Everyone is welcome and accepted by the Glenn Youth organization, which works to aid others in our community and around the world. The church expressed worry for the health and safety of the community.

Glenn's Youth Play

Auditions will be held at the Glenn Memorial United Methodist Church for Glenn's youth play.

The Glenn Memorial United Methodist Church announced on Facebook that auditions for the Glenn youth play would be placed from Monday, Nov. 29 to Wednesday, Dec. 1.

According to the church, the auditions will begin at 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at the church's school building.

According to the church, parents' information meetings will be held at certain times.

Parents and children who were interested in participating in youth play were asked to sign up. The concerts will take place from Feb. 25 to 27.

Glenn's Wreath-Making Event

The Glenn Memorial United Methodist Church will host a public Advent wreath-making event on Sunday, Nov. 28.

According to a Facebook post on Thursday, Nov. 11, the church encouraged the public to participate in an advent wreath crafting initiative for the approaching Advent and Christmas seasons.

The event will begin in the amphitheater on Sunday, Nov. 28, from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. if there is any inclement weather.
