The Inman Park United Methodist Church in Atlanta, Georgia, has asked for donations in the church's October food drive.
In a Facebook post on Wednesday, Oct. 27, the Inman Park United Methodist Church appealed for food donations that will be put in the food drive.
According to the post, among the following items needed are shelf-stable milk (UHT), instant oatmeal or grits, granola bars, water bottles, fruit cups, tuna packets, canned soup, sandwiches, and gallon-sized ziplock bags, plastic grocery bags, snack items, and instant coffee packet.
The food items may be dropped off at the church or on the back porch of the parsonage until Thursday, Oct. 28, the post read.

Fall Festival
The Inman Park United Methodist Church also hosted a fall festival for all ages on Sunday, Oct. 17.
According to a Facebook post, the Inman Park United Methodist Church had its fall festival from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.
The celebration included pumpkin painting, a costume contest, and blessing bags, according to the church.
According to the post, all members of the community were encouraged to attend the event as long as they felt safe.
Meanwhile, the church also implemented this during the event. It added that wearing face masks was also required for all attendees over three unless eating or drinking in the event.
Church's History
According to their Facebook page, the Inman Park Church is a historic congregation with a 21st-century perspective, located in Atlanta's Inman Park district, two miles east of downtown.
The church's page said Inman Park was Atlanta's first "garden suburb," and IPUMC is a historic church in Inman Park.
According to the website, the church was formed in 1866 and is still operational today. The church was dedicated on April 17, 1898.
It added that Willis Franklin Denny II designed it in the Romanesque style, and it is made of Stone Mountain granite.
Atlanta Halloween Festivities
Meanwhile, the First Presbyterian Preschool in Atlanta, Georgia, the second annual pumpkin patch for children and families, was hosted.
On Monday, Oct. 4, the First Presbyterian Preschool of Atlanta posted the second annual pumpkin patch images on Facebook.
According to a Facebook post from the school, Presbyterian preschool students and their families had a great time in the annual pumpkin patch.
The preschool said the children and families made scarecrows, decorated pumpkins with their peers, and found suitable pumpkin activities for the Halloween celebration.
Meanwhile, the Shallowford Presbyterian Church in Atlanta, Georgia, will have its annual "trunk or treat" event on Saturday, Oct. 30. The church requested participants in the trunk or treat event in a Facebook post on Wednesday, Oct. 6.
According to the church, the annual celebration will take place in the parking lot of the Shallowford Presbyterian Church on Sunday, Oct. 30, from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. Participants must also dress up in creative and entertaining outfits.
The audience was fascinated and thrilled in enjoying the players' amusing attire and innovative trunks.
