Inman Park United Methodist Church holds fall festival for all ages

The Inman Park United Methodist Church held a fall festival for all ages on Sunday, Oct. 17.

In a Facebook post, the Inman Park United Methodist Church had its fall festival from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.

The church said the event held a pumpkin painting, costume contest, and blessing bags.

The post read that all community members were encouraged to join the event as long as they felt comfortable.

Meanwhile, the church also implemented this during the event. It added that wearing face masks was also required for all attendees over the age of three unless eating or drinking in the event.

Halloween Activities

Meanwhile, the second annual pumpkin patch for children and families was held at Atlanta's First Presbyterian Preschool in Atlanta, Georgia.

The First Presbyterian Preschool of Atlanta has shared photos of the second annual pumpkin patch in a Facebook post on Monday, Oct. 4.

According to the school's Facebook post, the Presbyterian preschool students and their families had a fantastic time in the annual pumpkin patch.

The preschool said children and families built scarecrows and decorated pumpkins with their peers, in addition to finding the suitable pumpkin activity for the Halloween celebration.

Meanwhile, on Saturday, Oct. 30, the Shallowford Presbyterian Church in Atlanta, Georgia, will have its annual "trunk or treat" event. In a Facebook post on Wednesday, Oct. 6, the church solicited participants in the trunk or treat event.

According to the church, the annual event will take place in the parking lot of the Shallowford Presbyterian Church on Sunday, Oct. 30, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Participants must also dress up in amusing and innovative costumes.

The audience was delighted and passionate, looking forward to the players' humorous outfits and imaginative trunks.

The Presbyterian church also used an Amazon wish list to encourage public members to donate to the church.

On the other hand, the Oglethorpe Presbyterian Church will host an All Saints Day memorial service on Sunday, Nov. 7.

According to the Presbyterian church's website, an All Saints Day memorial service will be held in the Memorial Garden on Nov. 7 at 12:30 p.m. to recognize and honor those who have died this year.

The memorial service will also be live-streamed on the church's Facebook page, according to the website.

According to the church, the deacons will, as in past years, place garden pebbles with the names of loved ones. They stated that they would give garden pebbles at the reception.

Historic Congregation

The Inman Park Church, located in Atlanta's Inman Park area, two miles east of downtown, is a historic congregation with a 21st-century viewpoint, according to its Facebook page.

The page read that Inman Park was Atlanta's first "garden suburb," and IPUMC is a historic church in Inman Park.

The church was founded in 1866 and is still active today, it said. On Apr. 17, 1898, the church was dedicated. It was created in the Romanesque style by Willis Franklin Denny II and is made of Stone Mountain granite.
