North Avenue Presbyterian Church in Atlanta, Georgia held a Lazarus Health Day on Sunday, Sept. 18.
The church said it has been hosting the event for the past few years, and it has been amazing.
Together with fellow homeless brothers and sisters, they celebrate good health and good times, according to the church's post.
There is food supplied, medical exams are conducted, haircuts are given, and many other services are offered, the church said.
The church said the Feet On The Street shower trailer will be utilized this year.
North Avenue Presbyterian Church said it eagerly anticipates Health Day in 2022. It is a Family Friendly event and they urge all families with children and teenagers to attend and serve on Sunday, Sept. 18th at NAPC from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., it added.

Open for All Ages
According to the church's website, North Avenue is a diverse area with residents of all ages from more than 30 different countries.
It added as people grow in their faith, they become more committed to loving and caring for one another.
Services have been held at the intersection of North Avenue and Peachtree Street by North Avenue, an urban church in the heart of Atlanta, since 1898, it was added.
The North Avenue Presbyterian Church said its objectives are to make the Kingdom of God known, serving Atlanta and the rest of the world, change as members grow in Christ, and love and worship God.
Different Congregations
According to the church's website, three different Korean congregations, one Kenyan Fellowship, one Eritrean Fellowship, and one Sudanese Fellowship were initially housed on North Avenue.
The North Avenue contributed to the founding and financial support of the Kenyan Presbyterian University through the Pastoral Institute, along with other churches in Atlanta.
Rev. Dr. Prakobb Deetanna, who believed that the experience would influence the young and members who traveled, was also credited with inspiring many short-term mission journeys.
Operating Guidelines
According to North Avenue Presbyterian Church, it is taking things slowly and enjoying how the vaccination has given the church family the ability to physically reunite.
The church said that these rules are currently being followed.
For North Avenue events, including church, anyone who has gotten vaccinations is not required to wear masks, according to the church.
The church declared that it must establish a location in the sanctuary where masks are required for those who prefer to worship in secrecy and disguise.
It also stated that they support anyone who wants to keep wearing a mask.
Masks may be necessary for private gatherings and celebrations at the host's and participants' discretion, the church stated.
The church declared that they will adhere to the recommendations for using masks made by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention.
