Oglethorpe Presbyterian Church in Atlanta, Georgia will hold a “Trunk or Treat" this October.
In a Facebook post on Friday, Oct. 14, the church invited the public to join in the event on Sunday, Oct. 23, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m in the church and its school's parking lot.
The church said that they will have all the customary games and activities, including pizza, drinks, arts and crafts, s'mores, and pumpkin carving.

Church’s Services
According to Oglethorpe Presbyterian Church's website, its worship services are relaxed, expressively artistic, and thoughtful.
The church claimed that hymns are frequently sung, while an organ or piano is playing in the background. However, occasionally more modern music is performed.
Additionally, the chancel choir practices each Sunday at 9:45 a.m., according to the Oglethorpe Presbyterian Church, and sings an anthem at Sunday church services.
According to the church, the handbell choir practices every Wednesday at 6:45 a.m.
The church claimed that once a month, one of its members would perform during Sunday morning worship.
The community's musical talents should be used for the benefit of the church, according to Oglethorpe Presbyterian Church.
It went on to say that every week, for 15 minutes, the Sunday services would be streamed live on Facebook utilizing Zoom. The church made a statement stating that they would be accepting online comments at this time.
In the worship videos posted in the recent week, the church also informed individuals who do not use Facebook.
The church said visitors can return to the church's Facebook page to see the page's updates even though those movies are still available there.

Member Congregation
Oglethorpe Presbyterian Church must follow the rules outlined in the Book of Order because it is a member congregation of the Presbyterian Church (USA), according to the church's website.
Each of the five teams—Connect, Grow, Serve, and Belong (Vision Support), as well as a sixth team called Stewardship—is allegedly co-chaired by a session leader, according to the church. The mission statement of the church is a common thread throughout these teams.
It was also mentioned that deacons from the Oglethorpe Presbyterian Church are in charge of the care ministry.
The church claimed that it was their responsibility to improve the congregation's capacity for pastoral care and to lend a helping hand to joyful or sorrowful families.
