Peachtree Road United Methodist Church in Atlanta, Georgia is set to hold a series of fall chamber music.

In a Facebook post on Saturday, Sept. 24, the church invited the public to attend the concerts, which are scheduled on different dates.

With magnificent classical pieces by Mozart, Ravel, and Robert Schumann as well as a local premiere by Benjamin Horne, the Cross-Country Chamber Consortium 2022 winner, Atlanta Chamber Players kick off their 47th season, according to the church's post.

The church said the prices for the concert will be $20 in advance and $25 on the day of the concert.

Meanwhile, Peachtree Road United Methodist Church said for seniors, it will be $15 on the day of the concert and $10 in advance.

It added that it will be free for educators and students. The church said advance tickets are available at www.prumc.org/music.

The church said the dates for the music series will be on Sunday, Oct. 23 at 3 p.m. for the Atlanta Chamber Players. It added that the Georgian Chamber Players will be on Sunday, Nov. 20 at 3 p.m.

Worship Services at Peachtree Road United Methodist Church

According to the church, regular services start at 8:45 a.m. and at 11:15 a.m. begin with a period of socializing with the priest, staff, and other worshipers and last for around 60 minutes.

It declared that, if they choose to remain silent during the social gathering, it will respect their decision.

According to Peachtree Road United Methodist Church, music will signal the start of the worship service.

The church said that whereas the usual service features an organ and chorus, our alternative service features a full band. Although screens are an option, the written bulletin is the conventional way to follow the service.

It allows everyone to wear anything they choose to wear. According to the church, people frequently wear their "Sunday finest" during sanctuary services, but otherwise, they keep it casual.

Although neither is required, the church stated that they nevertheless want everyone to be aware of what to expect so that they feel at peace.

According to the church, there is a common area outside each venue of worship, and the restrooms are down the hall.

Peachtree Road United Methodist Church claimed that if somebody needs a private area for nursing or making a phone call, its volunteers can direct them there.

According to the church's website, the majority of the worship services are held in the Sanctuary and Chapel.

The church stated that they are glad to mentor kids as they develop their faith in a way that is enjoyable and clear.

It was also mentioned that they might simply offer all children from six weeks to fifth-grade care and programming on Sundays just a text message or a short walk away, as well as a whole space and program just for the teenagers from middle and high schools.
