Peachtree Road United Methodist Church in Atlanta, Georgia said it will hold a “Halloween Extravaganza.”
In a Facebook post on Wednesday, Oct. 12, the church said the event will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 26, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
According to the church’s post, it needed volunteers that would make this community event a success.
Based on the church's website, the event will hold a "trunk or treat," bounces, games, pizza, a cake walk, and more, while sporting the participants' favorite costumes.

Church’s Worship
Regular services at Peachtree Road United Methodist Church start at 8:45 a.m., according to the church's website. The service will start with a time of fellowship with the priest, staff, and other worshipers and last about 60 minutes, the church said.
The church said those participants who chose to remain silent during the social gathering, and that they will respect their decision.
The start of the worship session, according to Peachtree Road United Methodist Church, will be announced by music.
The volunteers at Peachtree Road United Methodist Church can advise them to the appropriate location if they require a private space to nurse or make phone calls.
The sanctuary and chapel are where the majority of worship services are held, according to the church's website.
According to Peachtree Road United Methodist Church, the alternate service features a full band in contrast to the usual service, which features an organ and choir. Despite the presence of screens, the traditional way to follow the service is through the written bulletin.
It grants everyone the freedom to wear whichever clothes they wish. The church asserts that while attendees dress in their "Sunday finest" for sanctuary services, they otherwise keep things casual.
The church said that although neither was necessary, they nonetheless wanted everyone to be prepared so they could feel at ease.
According to Peachtree Road United Methodist Church, each place of worship has a gathering area, and the restrooms are down the hall.
Sunday school Hour
According to the church's website, the youth Sunday school program, Foundations, is open to children in grades 7 to 12.
The church said they begin with donuts, lead a group in worship with a full band, and end with an entertaining sermon tailored to their age group.
It also invited the public to discover fresh methods for seeking the Kingdom of God while laying a firm basis for their faith that permeates all areas of their life.

According to the church, the attendees' Confirmation marks a significant turning point in their spiritual development.
While establishing their own relationship with Jesus, learn about the background of the church and their religious beliefs, the church said.
All 6th graders as well as any additional students desiring confirmation at Peachtree Road United Methodist Church are welcome to enroll in the confirmation class, it added.
