Saint Mark United Methodist Church in Atlanta, Georgia called for volunteers to help at the Atlanta Pride.
In a Facebook post, the church said that it needed major volunteers with only a few days left for the event.
The church said interested volunteers may visit the website shared on its Facebook post to sign up for a volunteer position if they are interested in helping with the parade, feeding the homeless in midtown, handing out the water the Saint Mark way, or anything else.
As they carry out their purpose to love, accept, and serve all of the siblings, any assistance is greatly welcomed, according to the church's post.

Other Atlanta Churches to Participate in Atlanta Pride
Atlanta First United Methodist Church announced in a Facebook post that this year, they are going to participate in the yearly celebration.
Following Sunday, Oct. 9 worship, the church announced that it will gather with other North Georgia Reconciling United Methodists.
By Tuesday, Oct. 4, interested participants are advised to send an email to jay@atlantafirstumc.org, the church advises.

St. Paul United Methodist Church also announced that it is slated to host this year's Atlanta Pride festival.
On Monday, Oct. 10, a pride worship service will be held in the church sanctuary, the church said in a Facebook post.
After a pride worship service at 11 a.m., the church will drive downtown to line up for the Pride Parade, where they will march alongside other United Methodists throughout North Georgia.
Although the parade lineup is not yet known to the general public, the church vowed to let everyone know as soon as it is.
According to the post, everyone is encouraged to march with the church, including children, teenagers, and adults. The church promised to make a float available if standing got problematic.
They can all fit, so go ahead and buy their St. Paul United Methodist Church Pride shirt, the church said.
Open to All
According to the church, anybody can join St. Mark by confessing their belief in Jesus Christ, renewing their commitment after a significant break, or transferring their membership from another Christian denomination.
The church will make contact with everyone through the Administrative Assistant to the Clergy and one of the pastors.
According to the church, they wish to warmly welcome everyone to the neighborhood, regardless of where they now reside or where they are.
All who place their faith in Jesus Christ are invited to join them at their open table and become members, according to the church.
The church said that they are delighted by everyone's attendance. They are a caring, accepting, and giving congregation of Christians in the heart of Midtown Atlanta.
They treat everyone as God's children, no matter where they are in life. According to the church, anybody is welcome here.
