Saint Mark United Methodist Church in Atlanta, Georgia welcomed former intern Meagan Williams as part-time Assistant Director of Young Adult Ministry.
On a Facebook post on Tuesday, Aug. 2, the church announced the return of Williams as a staff member of the church.
According to the church’s post, along with Rev. Jess Cusick, the new part-time Assistant Director of Young Adult Ministry vowed that she will continue her hard work on programming and events for the young adults in the community.
Saint Mark United Methodist Church said they are happy that Williams will be a more permanent part of the member staff.
The church added that they are excited to see the great work that Williams would do for the Young Adult Ministry.

Saint Mark United Methodist Church’s Children Ministry
Children from infancy to fifth grade can learn, socialize, and worship through Saint Mark's children's ministry, the church shared on its website.
Working with young children both throughout the academic year and during the summer is a blessing that teachers, parents, and churchgoers all share, according to the church's website.

Church’s Mission
Every year, Saint Mark sends a group of people on an international service trip, according to the church's website.
The church said for the purpose of giving others hope and spreading the love of Christ, the teams serve in the fields of building, education, and health.
The group has recently visited Honduras, the Bahamas, and Costa Rica, it added.
The Appalachia Service Project is a ministry that builds and repairs homes for low-income people in rural Central Appalachia, according to the church’s website.
The church said it is run by volunteers.
It added that the Saint Mark work team often travels to ASP for one weekend during the summer or the fall to take part in this service.
Breakfast Club prepares and serves a delicious meal to 60 persons in need every Saturday morning, according to the church.
In a setting where everyone may unwind and receive loving and respectful treatment, volunteers serve the dinner, the church said on the same website.
The church said every three months, Blessed Are The Feet offers Saturday morning Breakfast Club participants foot care.
It added that volunteers bathe the patient's feet while a trained nurse and a foot care expert provide medical attention.
Supper Club prepares and delivers a delicious supper to 60 persons in need every Tuesday afternoon, according to the church.
The church said this organization serves meals to people in a loving and polite environment, similar to Breakfast Club.
Saint Mark built Wiggins House many years ago as a shelter for destitute women and their kids at night, the church reported.
The church explained that it currently serves as transitional housing for moms and their kids as they work to put their lives back together.
