The Shallowford Presbyterian Church in Atlanta, Georgia, held "The Nature of Faith" discussion for youth on Sunday, Nov. 14.

In a Facebook post on Saturday, Nov. 13, the Shallowford Presbyterian Church said that the event was an opportunity to hear the youth and see how much they have prepared for the worship.

According to the church's post, Katharine Kilcrease and Will Blass, both from 11th grade, discussed a sermon titled "The Nature of Faith."

The worship was held on Sunday, at 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. for the youth Sunday.

Church's Worship

According to its website, the Shallowford Presbyterian Church is a faith community and congregation dedicated to worship, care, mission, and spiritual growth.

The church's website stated that every Sunday at 8:30 a.m., a 30-minute service with scripture, hymns, and a sermon will be held in the chapel.

According to the church, early risers and those seeking a more intimate worship experience will enjoy this session.

The church will provide many chances for individuals of all ages to meet together to learn about, understand, and apply faith in their daily lives during worship and through Sunday School Classes.

At 11 a.m., a sanctuary service was held with a full choir, guest instrumentalists, scripture, hymns, and a sermon. According to the parish church, this event will be streamed live on social media pages. Guests, members, children, and friends from various regions are welcome to gather in the Great Hall for fellowship and a shared meal when it is safe to do so.

Youth Small Group Discussions

All 6th to 12th graders are encouraged to participate in small group conversations in the Shallowford Presbyterian Church.

Shallowford Presbyterian Church announced on Tuesday, Nov. 9, that the Shallowford youth small group leaders for 2021 to 2022 will meet with their groups once a month.

According to the church, the youth members' homes play an essential role in their spiritual development.

The Shallowford Presbyterian Church expressed gratitude to the Shallowford Youth small group leaders from 2021 to 2022.  The church also thanked Maggie, Rob, Steve, Asia, Sylvia, Hannah, Kim, Lyle, and Andrew.

The church's message also urged students in grades 6 to 12 to join.

Church's Evergreens

The public is being requested to donate holiday evergreens to the Shallowford Presbyterian Church's young choir.

In a Facebook post on Wednesday, Nov. 3, the Shallowford Presbyterian Church invited the public to help the Shallowford youth choir by purchasing holiday evergreens.

According to the church, the sale will end on Tuesday, Nov. 16.

According to the post, all donations will go toward a youth choir summer tour to Florida in 2022. 

The evergreens sold, according to the church's website, are of extraordinary quality and freshness. The trees were cut from a nursery in North Carolina and sent the next day to this site, according to the church. A complete money-back guarantee backs every evergreen purchase.
