Shallowford Presbyterian Church in Atlanta to host special Advent service

The Shallowford Presbyterian Church in Atlanta, Georgia, hosts a special Advent service on Tuesday, Nov. 30.

In a Facebook post on Wednesday, Nov. 17, the Shallowford Presbyterian Church announced that it would hold a time of preparation for the Advent season on Tuesday, Nov. 30 at 11 a.m. in the church's chapel.

According to the post, the Shallowford Presbyterian women members will host the special service in which they will collectively reflect on the normal people doing extraordinary things.

The Shallowford Presbyterian said the service would feature four female ancestors of Jesus.

A reception will follow after the service in the Great Hall.

The church advised participants who have children to call the church office or email info@shallowford.org to reserve childcare.

Shallowford Presbyterian Church's Evergreens

The Shallowford Presbyterian Church asked the public to aid the Shallowford youth choir by purchasing holiday evergreens in a Facebook post on Wednesday, Nov. 3. The sale will finish on Tuesday, Nov. 16.

According to the post, all donations will go toward a youth choir summer tour to Florida in 2022.
