The St. Paul United Methodist Church in Atlanta, Georgia, has called for participants to join in the basketball season.
In a Facebook post on Friday, Oct. 29, the St. Paul United Methodist Church said the registration for the upcoming basketball season would start next week.
The church encouraged participants to be on the lookout for more information, according to the post.

Church's History
According to its website, the St. Paul United Methodist Church is located in Grant Park, one of Atlanta's oldest neighborhoods.
The website stated that the St. Paul United Methodist Church has been providing a place of prayer, companionship, and community at the crossroads of Grant and Sydney Streets for over 115 years.
The church members said they are proud to have open hearts, minds, and doors as a United Methodist Church.

Bible Ceremony for Youth and Children
Last Sunday, the St. Paul United Methodist Church also hosted a bible ceremony for children and youth last Sunday, Oct. 24.
This year, the St. Paul United Methodist Church organized a children's bible ceremony to present the bible to several children, according to the church's website.
The event was held in person at the St. Paul United Methodist Church sanctuary on Sunday.
On the other hand, the church followed stronger health measures, such as wearing face masks, providing child care, and allowing singing.
According to St. Paul, sick people can watch the service online through the live stream in the church's official social media accounts.
Amid the coronavirus illness (COVID-19) pandemic, the church also asked for attendees' patience with the new regular setting.
Youth Retreat Camp
The St. Paul United Methodist Church in Atlanta, Georgia, held Rooted Retreat at Camp Glisson, a youth retreat camp, according to its Facebook post.
The Methodist church announced that its youth group attended Camp Glisson's Rooted Retreat.
The church said nine youth and four adults were among those who enjoyed themselves during the weekend retreat.
Meanwhile, the church announced in a separate Facebook post on Sunday, Oct. 17, that the youth group had returned from the retreat and shared their experiences during Sunday service.
The St. Paul United Methodist Church said they are still praying for the retreat camp participants' safety.
Halloween Celebration
As part of their Halloween celebration on Sunday, Oct. 31, the St. Paul United Methodist Church has also invited the public to join in a "Trick or Treat" event.
According to a Facebook post from the church on Thursday, Oct. 14, the public was encouraged to celebrate Halloween after worship on Sunday.
The St. Paul United Methodist Church said the event offered hotdogs and beverages for both children and adults.
The post read that children would also have time to change their costumes before the "trick or treating" event at 1 p.m.
According to the church, the participants would go on a "trick or treating" trip outside the church complex, with themed tables.
Participants were also invited to dress up in inventive and amusing costumes.
