St. Paul United Methodist Church in Atlanta, Georgia called for a donation drive called “Lost-n-Found Youth Thrift Store.”
In a Facebook post on Wednesday, Oct. 12, the church said it is supporting Lost-n-Found Youth through the donation drive.
According to the church’s post, they may bring the following gently used items such as clothing, toys, art, collectibles, small kitchen appliances, household goods, dishwashers, utensils, and kitchen supplies.
The church said they may drop the items in the marked bin in the fellowship hall.
The proceeds from the sale of the goods go toward funding the homeless LGBTQ+ youth outreach program, youth center, and transitional housing provided by Lost-n-Found Youth, according to the church.
In addition to making a donation, they may also assist LnFY by shopping in the thrift store, which is available to the general public from Mondays to Saturdays, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and on Sundays, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 2585 Chantilly Drive NE, Atlanta, GA 30324.
The church said they may visit LnFY's website at https://www.lnfy.org/ for more details about the organization and about their upcoming "There's No Place Like Home" Halloween Spectacular Gala on Oct. 28.
Furniture and exercise equipment donations are also accepted at the Lost-n-Found Youth Thrift Store, according to the church.
St. Paul United Methodist Church said donations can be made to the store directly. It added that donations are accepted Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The church, however, said that it would not have the space to store and transport those products, but they may feel free to donate these items.

Worship Services
St. Paul United Methodist Church holds numerous training courses in addition to its Sunday worship services at 10 a.m., according to the church's website.
Children are always welcome, the church said. At 10 a.m., the nursery is open for infants and young kids until noon.
St. Paul United Methodist Church reported that childcare is offered to start at 10 a.m.
According to St. Paul United Methodist Church, the nursery staff looks forward to spending Sundays with the children.
Open Communion
According to the United Methodist, the practice of "Open Communion" is that anyone is welcome at St. Paul who loves God, the principles of Jesus Christ, and the desire to live in peace with one another.
The church said that because of their principles and humility, they must acknowledge the inclusion of every group or anyone who is interested in their worship, their faith, or their services.
St. Paul United Methodist Church reportedly prayed for God to reconcile His people.
The church declared that its decision to join the "Reconciling Ministries Network" was motivated by its commitment to assist and include everyone, regardless of color, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, marital status, previous religious affiliation, place of origin, or economic circumstances.
