St. Paul United Methodist Church in Atlanta, Georgia hosted a youth group event for 6th to 12th-grade students.

In a Facebook post on Monday, Sept. 12, the church invited the public to a potluck, games, and planning for the upcoming year during its youth group event.

According to the church’s post, the youth group event was held on Sunday, Sept. 11 at 5 p.m. All youth in grades 6th to 12th were invited to come.

Interested participants were told to contact Emily, a church member, at emily@stpaulgrantpark.org.

They were also encouraged to visit St. Paul United Methodist Church’s Facebook post.

Church’s Sunday School

At 10 a.m., adult Sunday school begins at the lecture hall of Fellowship, according to the church's website. Everyone who has completed sixth grade and older is welcome, it said.

According to St. Paul United Methodist Church, the Fellowship Hall is on St. Paul's second level.

The church claims that in addition to its Sunday worship services at 10 a.m., St. Paul also provides a number of workshop times.

It stated that children are always welcome. A nursery is open from 10 a.m. to noon for newborns and small children.

St. Paul United Methodist Church claims that childcare is available starting at 10 a.m.

The church claims to be located in the back right corner of the third floor of the gym. Young children are the nursery's target market, it was added.

According to the church, the nursery staff loves spending time with the kids on Sundays.

Sunday school for children begins at 10 a.m. in the gym. All young children between the ages of three and five are, according to the church, welcome.

The church said the gym is on the third floor of St. Paul.

The church said it welcomes all of God's people because of their faith and mission. 

All are welcome at St. Paul who love God, the teachings of Jesus Christ, and the goal of living in peace with one another, in accordance with the United Methodist tradition of "Open Communion," according to the church.

Due to convictions and humility, they must affirm the inclusion of every group or person who is interested in their worship, the faith, or the service, the church said. 

The church said it strives to be a nurturing community, supporting one another in their spiritual journeys, in keeping with the grasp of United Methodist theology and doctrine, particularly the understanding of grace. 

St. Paul United Methodist Church said it asks that God would bring about the reconciliation of His people, according to the church.

The church said it chose to join the "Reconciling Ministries Network," a movement dedicated to a witness of reconciliation and inclusiveness for all people, regardless of race, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, marital status, faith history, nationality, or economic status, in recognition of the congregation's call to support and include all people.
