St. Paul United Methodist Church in Atlanta, Georgia will conduct its first regular concert series.

In a Facebook post on Monday, Oct. 17, the church said the concert series will begin on Sunday, Oct. 30, at 3 p.m.

The church said it will feature works by Johannes Brahms, Robert Schumann, Eric Coates, and other composers performed by Logan Souther and Rogelio Bonilla, a doctorate candidate in viola performance. 

The Nicholas House, a Grant Park Shelter that assists homeless families, and the ministry of St. Paul will both profit from the "Pay What You Wish" admission policy, it added.

Christ's Teachings

According to the United Methodist practice of "Open Communion."Anyone who loves God, the teachings of Jesus Christ, and the desire to live in peace with one another are welcome at St. Paul.

The church stated that they must acknowledge the inclusion of every group or anyone who is interested in their worship, their beliefs, or their services due to their ideals and humility.

According to the church, St. Paul United Methodist Church prayed for God to bring His people together.

The church stated that its commitment to assisting and embracing everyone, regardless of color, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, marital status, prior religious affiliation, place of origin, or economic circumstances, served as the driving force behind its decision to join the "Reconciling Ministries Network.”

Worship Services

According to the church's website, St. Paul United Methodist Church offers several training programs in addition to its 10 a.m. Sunday worship services.

The church declared that kids are welcome at all times. The nursery opens at 10 a.m. and stays open until noon for newborns and young children.

According to St. Paul United Methodist Church, childcare is available beginning at 10 a.m.

The nursery staff enjoys spending Sundays with the kids, according to St. Paul United Methodist Church.

Meanwhile, the "Lost-n-Found Youth Thrift Store" donation drive was organized by St. Paul United Methodist Church in Atlanta, Georgia.

They are allowed to donate gently used items like clothing, toys, artwork, collectibles, small kitchen appliances, home goods, dishwashers, cutlery, and culinary supplies, according to the church's post.

The congregation advised that they might place the things in the fellowship hall's clearly labeled bin.

According to the church, the money raised through the sale of the items goes toward supporting the outreach program for LGBTQ+ homeless adolescents, the youth center, and the transitional housing offered by Lost-n-Found Youth.

The church recommended that anybody interested in learning more about LnFY and their forthcoming "There's No Place Like Home" Halloween Spectacular Gala on Friday, Oct. 28, visit the organization's website at https://www.lnfy.org/.

The Lost-n-Found Youth Thrift Store also accepts donations of furniture and exercise equipment, according to the church.

However, the church stated that although it did not have the room to keep and transport such products, they were welcome to donate them.
