The Trinity Presbyterian Church in Atlanta, Georgia, has asked for volunteers for its annual Christmas market tradition.
In a Facebook post on Wednesday, Nov. 3, the Trinity Presbyterian Church has encouraged culinary masters, bakers, crafters, and artists to help with the annual holiday tradition of Trinity's Christmas market.
The church said the Christmas market would be held in person at Williams Hall on Sunday, Dec. 5.
According to the post, the Trinity's Christmas market proceeds will benefit global missions in Haiti, Cuba, and refugee resettlement in Atlanta.
The Trinity Presbyterian Church said it also needs church members to donate items for the market, including homemade food goods, casseroles, soups, quiches, baked goods, handmade crafts, and artisan works.

Assist Resettled Afghan Families
The Trinity Presbyterian Church in Atlanta has also requested donations to help recently arrived Afghan families.
On Wednesday, Oct. 27, Trinity Presbyterian Church posted that its members are aiding Afghan families in collaboration with the International Rescue Committee (IRC).
The Afghan families are anticipated to arrive in the coming weeks, according to the church.
According to the post, the Trinity Presbyterian Church requested donations at this time due to limited storage space.
A chest of drawers, kitchen chairs, and bookshelves are among the goods on the church's wish list for the recently displaced families. Kitchen, bathroom, and cleaning supplies were also included.
Miscellaneous supplies, such as a small television, pens, paper, envelopes, and radio, were also requested by Trinity Presbyterian.

Food Drive
The Trinity Presbyterian Church asked for donations for a stock for the ministry's food drive on Sunday, Oct. 3.
According to a Facebook post on Tuesday, Sept. 28, the church solicited donations for Intown Collaborative Ministries' food drive.
The Trinity Presbyterian Church said it was supplying the food pantry at Intown Collaborative Ministries.
The Intown Collaborative Ministries, according to the church, has been assisting those in the community who are experiencing food insecurity.
The church said groceries were delivered to households and people twice a week.
The Trinity Presbyterian Church requested oatmeal packets, instant grits, apple sauce, granola bars, peanut butter and jelly, tuna packets, soup cans, macaroni and cheese, and shelf-stable milk.
They also asked potential donors to double-check expiration dates since the Intown Collaborative Ministries will not accept items that have already expired.
The Intown Collaborative Ministries was recognized in the Trinity Presbyterian Church's 2020 Hunger Relief Fund.
The church also thanked those who gave generously. The food donations were dropped off last Sunday, Oct. 3, at Trinity Presbyterian Church.
According to the website of Intown Collaborative Ministries, outreach teams can learn about individuals and families experiencing homelessness through referrals or on the streets.
The outreach workers will assess the consumers' needs and housing constraints, according to the ministries.
The Intown Ministries said the clients are enrolled in the Atlanta citywide housing queue.
