Colorado Community Church will host an in-person faith-based suicide awareness training for religious leaders and volunteers on Wednesday, Apr. 19, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Soul Shop For Leaders

According to a post from Eventbrite, the event will be called "Soul Shop For Leaders," which aims to give the knowledge necessary to identify the risk factors and warning signs of suicide and the required skills to have dialogues that can save and strengthen lives.

The participants will also learn straightforward methods for making the entire religious community's sermons, prayers, worship services, small groups, and events soul safe for those looking for secure environments to find support and a sense of belonging.

Christians aim to contribute to creating lives that are truly worth living.

It will be held at Colorado Community Church, 14000 East Jewell Ave., Aurora, CO.

They mentioned that the following people are likely to be the first to identify that someone may need to have a dialogue about the possibility of suicide: clergy and pastors, family, friends, and co-workers, food bank and care teams, prayer and welcome teams, safety and security teams, small group leaders, and youth workers.

As the training will begin at 9 a.m., participants must arrive early to check in, get coffee and supplies, and locate a seat. There will not be a provision for online training, as reported.

Colorado Community Church

Colorado Community Church is a place of worship that welcomes people of various religious and cultural backgrounds and practices.

They want to bring individuals closer to Christ, their communities, and their callings so that the city and the world can be changed.

As mentioned, the church wants to see an ever-increasing number of people place their faith in Jesus, worship him as Lord and Friend of the world, and serve him in this capacity. We think that "God loves you, and there's nothing you can do about it!" in all sincerity.

They are reportedly a church that welcomes people of many cultures and religious backgrounds. They encouraged the people to find a place to belong as they honor and appreciate its God-given cultural and religious differences in their lives and work.

The church aims to provide people with the resources they need to live as a missionary sent by God to seek His kingdom and fulfill their purpose. To spread the Gospel throughout the entire city, it is necessary for the whole church, including every member.

They believe that God has placed a special calling on the life of the people, and they want to assist them in discerning what it is that God has in store for them so that they can fulfill that call.

In addition, they firmly believe that Jesus Christ is at the helm of His Church. Therefore, their purpose is to bring glory to God by shaping lives and hearts so that they are open to being led by Him.

They rely on the power of the Holy Spirit, Grace, and the Gospel to transform people into the image of Christ for the sake of others. It enables them to be a church for the 21st century that possesses the power of the 21st century.
