The group aims to help them have a strong relationship with Jesus Christ through various programs and opportunities, including the following:

  • The Holy Hour seeks them to have a "personal encounter" with Jesus.
  • Aid and Support After Pregnancy (ASAP) is a program of the organization that reportedly supports pregnant women, mothers, and children.
  • The Hockey Challenge is an athletic program of the organization for youth members ages 10 to 17.

Accordingly, the Knights of Columbus was founded on Feb. 6, 1882, by Fr. Michael J. McGivney.

The group was founded through its mission to serve and help people in need or suffering, as reported.

Through the years, the Knights of Columbus has made its history and served the people across and beyond the United States.

The connection between the Knights and the Catholic churches began when the former group showed support to a Catholic school. The Knights reportedly granted a scholarship program for students who could not afford to enter school.

The program was made through the support of different priests and seminarians from the United States, Canada, Mexico, and the Philippines.
