Teachers and staff of Foundation Academy recently received their 'Kingdom Education' training. The event was composed of lecture series aimed at spiritual and professional development.

Spiritual Development Training

According to the school's newsletter, the training took place at the Tilden Campus on Monday, Oct. 11. Faculty and staff members from the different campuses attended the said event.

Author Glen Schultz reportedly trained the teachers and staff. Schultz wrote the book 'Kingdom Education God's Plan for Educating Future Generations.'

The news report said that the training program was made possible by donating to the Foundation Academy Fund. The school also thanked its donors for helping them towards their cause.

As mentioned, Ellie Lou's BBQ was served as lunch to the attendees. They also received a special dessert from Domi's Italian Ice.

Kingdom Education Ministries

According to the ministry's website, the organization aims to educate the youth and future generations to apply Biblical principles in their lives.

The ministry believes that the Bible is the 'infallible and inerrant' word of God. They also said that the Holy Book is the source of all truth.

Meanwhile, the Kingdom Education Ministries stresses the importance of a biblical philosophy of education. They said that this philosophy has a basis on 13 biblical principles found in the Bible.

The ministry also believes those principles guide how Christians should educate their children and youth.

Glen Schultz

According to the news report, this year was Schultz's 51st year in the field of education.

The author began his teaching career when he served as a chemistry teacher and coach at Gowanda Central School in New York.

Schultz would later begin his career in Christian school education after five years of teaching in public school.

Then, the author served as a teacher, coach, principal, and superintendent during his teaching career.

Foundation Academy Fund

In an earlier report with Orange Observer, Foundation Academy launched its first Foundation Academy Fund 10 Day Blitz.

The funds raised would go towards the school's annual fund. The goal is to raise enough funds within ten days.

Christina Haak said that school officials wanted to be transparent about where the funds would be used. Haak is the school's developmental specialist.

Haak explained that the school agreed to target five areas in the school. These included spiritual development, safety, tuition assistance, development of staff, and facility improvements.

She said the main focus of the fundraiser was to build a strong partnership between the church and family. Haak stressed that they wanted to be "the best school" that they could be.

Haak also thanked the donors for their generosity and support for the school. She said that the fundraiser was more than a gift to them.

She stressed that the event symbolized the relationship between the school and the community that surrounded them.

Haak also called the generosity of the members of the school "overwhelming." She said that everyone was grateful for the partnerships that they have established through the years.
