John Cooper will lead the most significant Christian music festival in Florida called Rock the Universe 2023.

Rock the Universe 2023

Rock the Universe 2023 is one of the most awaited events in Florida. It will adhere to the Christian faith and can assist in rebuilding a family, which is common in the United States.

The festival will be a two-night event from Friday, Jan. 27 to Saturday, Jan. 28, and will be held at Universal Studios Florida, 6000 Universal Blvd, Orlando, FL.

Accordingly, even though not everyone in the event is a devoted Christian or religious, several people are. They are united in agreement that Jesus is the way, the life, and the truth.

As a result, people can celebrate with everyone from different walks of life, regardless of their social standing, race, and religious affiliation.

On the other hand, Cooper stated that he met people who said they devoted their lives to Christ at a Christian music festival, such as Rock the Universe.

Now, he's taking them to the same site where he pledged his life to Christ.

As stated, 2023 marks universal studio's long history of hosting the Christian event for 25 years.

Cooper celebrated Universal's decision to continue partnering with believers despite the non-religious activities against Christians and parental rights issues.

Accordingly, the event's ticket price will range from $24.99 to $159.99.

John Cooper

Based on an article, John Cooper was raised in a very religious family. He was known as an American singer, songwriter, and musician.

Starting in 1996 up until now, he has served as the lead vocalist, bassist, and co-founder of Skillet. The band has been nominated for a Grammy award.

During 1989-1995, Cooper was a member of the experimental rock band Seraph for a short time. Before disbanding, the band put out a demo that was entitled Silence E.P., which contained four songs.

The songs 'Alone,' 'Silence,' 'Wild Honey,' and 'Fading Love' were included in the track listing.

Moreover, Cooper founded the band Skillet together with Ken Steorts in 1996. Both of them had been members of other bands.

He was a lead vocalist of the Tennessee progressive rock band, and Steorts was the guitarist for Urgent Cry.

Soon after that, their band was disbanded. Their pastor encouraged Cooper and Steorts to start the band as a side project.

As a result, Skillet is the name they decided to give to their group despite coming from various rock music genres.

In addition, Trey McClurkin became the band's fill-in drummer until they could find a permanent replacement.

The band had only been playing together for over a month when they caught the attention of the extensive Christian record label ForeFront Records. They quickly signed them to a record deal.

Hence, Cooper became the only original member of the band and the principal songwriter after Ken Steorts left in 1999 and Trey McClurkin in 2000. He was left as the sole founding member of the band.

Moreover, John Cooper has performed with his side project Fight the Fury since 2018.
