Worship leader Jenny Weaver announced on her Facebook page that The Core Group will be hosting '3 Days of Intercession' a week. Weaver said it would be a "game changer" for intercessors.
A Fife Changed for Christ
Weaver is one of the examples of how one could change their life around through the power of prayer. According to her Facebook page, she is now the minister of Jenny Weaver Worships.
In a report with CBN, Weaver now ministers to thousands of people across the globe with her online and social media ministry.
Weaver shared that God changed her life. She was once living homeless on the streets and was addicted to drugs.
The worship leader also said that she practiced witchcraft. Now, she worships God and wants others to do the same.
Encountering the Holy Spirit
She told the news outlet that her heart compels her to lead people to have an encounter with the Holy Spirit. Weaver said that it is this experience that will forever change their lives.
Her outreach ministry is continuing to inspire people to follow God.
She explained that The Core Group was a mentorship for women. Weaver told Prayerlink
that she always wanted to help give women the tools they needed to succeed in the ministry that Jesus has called everyone to do.
The core group was launched earlier in April 2022. She told the news outlet that they have grown to more than 450 groups.
The group has reached Australia, South Africa, and the U.K.
Healed in Christ
She told the news outlet that she continues to marvel at the incredible things that God does.
Weaver said that people have become so used to the conventional ideas of a church, such as hearing a sermon. She said that there were fewer opportunities for transformation and actual change.
She explained that in these core groups, the women in ministry come in and they expect to meet with God.
Weaver was never one to shy away from telling her life story. She grew up in a dysfunctional household. As a young girl, she would battle depression and feelings of loneliness.
She found herself homeless and fending for herself on the streets at only 17 years old. It was during this time that she became addicted to drugs.
Weaver also practiced the occult. She shared that she had many frightening supernatural encounters with the spirit realm.
The worship leader said the demonic spirits would torment her and she would fear for her life.
One night while she was in jail, Weaver prayed for the first time in her life.
She surrendered her life to Christ. These days, she is a worship leader at We Are Nations Church in Orlando.
Weaver warns her supporters against the dangers of witchcraft and the occult. She said that these were evils in the world and one should not dabble in them.
She told the news outlet that the core group ministry is working on seeing women healed from their emotional turmoil and pain. Weaver also helps them from recovering from their addictions.
