The post added that the five essentials are “things that are truly important and what we are unwilling to compromise on.”
Those interested in joining the conference may secure their tickets for $38.77, excluding fees and taxes.
About Southside Baptist Church
According to its website, Southside Baptist Church believes in the Holy Scriptures as the “inspired, infallible, authoritative Word of God.” It also maintains that “there is one and only one true and living God, an infinite, sovereign Spirit, the Creator and Supreme ruler of heaven and earth; glorious in holiness and worthy of all honor and praise.”
The church also believes in Jesus Christ’s “deity and humanity” and in the deity of the Holy Spirit.
Additionally, Southside Baptist Church professes God’s “absolute sovereignty” and in “the Genesis account of creation as being neither allegory nor myth, but a literal historical account of the direct, immediate creative acts of God without any evolutionary process.”
Meanwhile, the church’s belief about the fall of man says Adam’s “voluntary transgression” of God’s law led to men becoming partakers of his “fallen nature.” For this, the church says men “are spiritually dead in trespasses and sin; and therefore are under just condemnation to eternal ruin, without defense or excuse.”
Southside Baptist Church believes that our “eternal salvation from sin and death” comes ‘not from ourselves but from God’s grace through faith.’
Aside from these beliefs, the church also has beliefs about the doctrine of grace, the church, the family, baptism and the Lord’s supper, Satan, the new heaven and new earth, and death and resurrection.
