The Global Church Network will host Synergize 2022 on Jan. 25-27. The event will take place in Orlando.
Bringing Faith Leaders Together
In a report with Missions Box, organizers expect the event to draw over 700 international church leaders across 40 countries.
According to Religion News Service, the conference will equip attendees in their evangelistic ministry.
Dr. James O. Davis told the news outlet that Synergize 2022 was developed for leaders who want to "synergize."
It was also meant to serve to network and act on their calling as Christians to share the Gospel.
Davis is the GCN President and co-founder.
He expressed his excitement for gathering in person. This year's conference also marks its 20th anniversary.
The GCN President also prayed for the success of the conference. He hoped attendees would feel the impact of the event.
The event also features keynote speakers who are expert evangelistic ministers in their field.
These invited speakers include Robert Jeffress, the senior pastor of First Baptist Church Dallas, and Kenneth Ulmer, senior pastor-teacher of Faithful Central Bible Church.
God-Sized Vision
Davis told the news outlet that Christians should have a "God-sized vision." This meant including everyone in their ministry.
He stressed that a God-sized vision does not discriminate against people regardless of their color, race, and beliefs.
Davis urged the public to have a visionary plan that wrapped the entire world in the Gospel.
He also encouraged everyone to lay their problems at the feet of Jesus.
"Synergize 2022 is all about reflecting on what brought the Church this far and what it will take to get us to the finish line," Davis said.
FINISH: 2030
Missions Box said that Synergize 2022 highlights remaining priorities for FINISH: 2030.
FINISH: 2030 is GCN's mandate to finish the Great Commission by the 2,000th anniversary of the founding of the Church.
According to the report, the goal was first developed in 2015. It was announced at the GCN-sponsored Wittenberg 2017 Congress.
At the time of the announcement, it marked the 500th anniversary of Martin Luther initiating the Protestant Reformation in Castle Church, Wittenberg, Germany.
Synergize 2022 will take place at The DoubleTree by Hilton at Seaworld. Registration is only available via a waitlist.
Billion Souls Saved
According to the GCN website, the organization had its origins on a snowy February 18, 2001. At the time, Davis said that he felt the Holy Spirit tell him to call a Christian leader.
Davis called the church leader and voiced his concerns as a preacher. He said that over 90 percent of all ministers had no access to formal education. Many of these pastors also lacked the proper training.
The founder explained that these ministers drop ministry every year. He said that this was a burden for pastors everywhere.
Davis said that he fasted for many days to develop a solution to the problem. He added that a vision was born when he met the church leader in California.
Together, they vowed to plant five million new churches to have a billion soul harvest.
