The Christ Church in Central Phoenix will host an all-team training program on Saturday, March 25, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

The church’s website announced that the event would be an opportunity for all serving teams to be more equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to be more efficient in doing their respective roles.

They mentioned that it is a way to motivate the workers to live out the gospel through their efforts.

Church's Teams

In another section, Christ Church emphasized that serving is an excellent way to relate with others and make an impact. They explained that Christians could give back to the amazing things that God has done for them through serving others.

As further mentioned, it is a response to love and thanksgiving to God.

Moreover, the church noted that they help those interested in serving the church find a suitable team. They added that they could join the group to greet guests or lead a small group.

The website highlighted the Scripture from 1 Peter 4:10, which says, “As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace.”

Global Mission

Christ Church’s mission webpage revealed that the church prays, gives, and goes to every tribe, language, and nation to proclaim the gospel. They pointed out that they envision planting new churches.

The church is dedicated to discovering, enhancing, and sending church planters to build new churches.

In addition, they desire to establish global partnerships as their strategy to pursue progress in the Kingdom, as explained on the website. They added that their partners are passionate about planting churches, training pastors, and raising leaders.

More importantly, the church acknowledges that many of its partners worldwide and newly planted churches need help with compassion and humanitarian initiatives. They noted they are dedicated to helping local pastors know, fund, and work with suitable projects.

Initiatives in Ethiopia

The website noted that Christ Church supports Ambaricho International Prayer and Missions in Ethiopia (AIPM).

The AIPM website explained that they are a vital grassroots advocator of prayer and mission outreach in Southern Ethiopia.

Moreover, they said that a Board of Directors manages AIPM USA, an Incorporated Not for profit organization in America. They added that they are registered in the state of Indiana.

Besides, they are recognized as a non-profit charitable agency in Ethiopia. They aim to help indigenous Ethiopian Missionaries through prayer, support, and training.

They revealed that they first started as a prayer ministry then they began sending missionaries.

In addition, the website mentioned that the core mission of their missionaries is to spread the gospel to over 90 million people in Ethiopia that do not honor Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

According to them, the organization disciple new believers, plant churches, and offer tangible help like food for those in need.

More importantly, the organization’s homepage revealed that they named the group Ambaricho International Prayer and Missions Movement because they focus on prayer for the revival and redemption of existing churches.
