Cross Roads United Methodist Church holding new member classes every Thursday night

Cross Roads United Methodist Church in Phoenix, Arizona hosts classes for new members every Thursday.

In a Facebook post on Friday, Aug. 5, the church announced that the classes will be held from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.

According to the church’s post, everyone is welcome for the new member classes.

The church said participants do not need to be new to join, whether they are new or old members alike.

Church’s Youth Program

For kids in grades 6-12, Cross Roads United Methodist Church Youth Group meets every Sunday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. with food, entertainment, and camaraderie, according to the church’s website

The church said together, they worship, talk about their relationship with God, and look for ways to serve the congregation and the wider community. 

In order to connect with other young people and engage in spiritual adventures that are genuinely enlightening, they also go to conferences and camps, it added. 

The church said the Cross Roads Youth Group welcomes everyone, regardless of whether they have been active members of the church since birth or are searching for a place to undergo a rebirth.

Reconciling Church

Cross Roads United Methodist Church is an open and accepting congregation that embraces diversity, service, unconditional acceptance, and the care and support of all persons in the name of Jesus Christ, according to the church

The church said it is a reconciling, inclusive community of faith. 

It added that those of every race, ethnicity, language, age, physical or mental ability, gender identity, sexual orientation, political affiliation, socioeconomic class, marital status, and history of faith.

In addition, those battling mental illnesses and addiction, are all welcome to participate in ministry and worship with our congregation.

The church said being on a mission with the neighborhood and the rest of the world is something we cherish highly. 

For all kids, teens, and adults, it believes that education through Sunday school, Bible study, and other studies are crucial, according to the church.

Cross Roads United Methodist Church said it declared that everyone is sacredly valuable without exception. 

Together, with God's love, we endeavor to advance understanding and respect for one another, the church said. 

It added that all people who look for God's love through Jesus Christ are welcome in this religious community.
