On a Facebook post on Saturday, July 23, the church said the Bible study hour is facilitated once a month, every fourth Saturday.

According to the church’s post, the facilitator will be Lady Joysaphine Waitman Powell who is currently completing her Theological Studies at Grand Canyon University.

The church said the bible study and real talk will be a virtual safe space for women to study the word collectively and connect as their camera is not required for this event, and it will not be recorded.

Every month, learning resources will be made available to everyone, according to the Fisher A.M.E Zion Church.

Women of Valor

Throughout their lives, women endure a variety of obstacles, most of which, they silently overcome by themselves, according to the church’s website

The church said it aims to provide everyone with a sisterhood of like-minded women who have God's heart so that they won't have to deal with the pain of daily difficulties alone.

Serving in a bible study group demonstrates to everyone how beneficial it is to assist others while also assisting oneself, the Fisher A.M.E Zion Church said on the same website.

The church said it will be exciting to see which amazing women join every month.  Others may be extremely fresh to their faith and looking for a deeper meaning or just wanting to feel more content, while some may be seasoned saints, it added.

Fisher A.M.E Zion Church said Women of Valor is for everyone, no matter where they are in their faith journey.

Fisher A.M.E Zion Church’s Denomination

According to the church's website, in order to achieve this goal, members worship God, submit to the demands of the Gospel, share the account of God's gracious acts in creating and redeeming the world, invite people to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior, and act as carriers of God's releasing and reconciling love.

The church said that in addition to focusing on ministry and social change at home in the United States, the denomination has committed a significant amount of its time and resources to outreach abroad.

Australia is the only continent on which the AME Zion Church currently lacks member congregations, according to the Fisher A.M.E. Zion Church.

The church also stated that the denomination had built numerous clinics and schools in Ghana and Nigeria, notably in the region of West Africa.

It claimed that despite civil unrest in Liberia damaging some of its main structures, it still maintains facilities there.

Fisher AME Zion Church currently has roughly 1.4 million members, according to the website.
