Grace Walk Church hosted a gathering to empower women to be pillars of God’s Kingdom on Saturday, March 11.

The church’s Facebook page featured Wendy Holley as the event’s guest speaker and discussed “Who needs a friend?”

Besides, they posted that they had fun in worship, complimentary brunch, and giveaways. The church also offered childcare for children from zero to nine years old.

Women's Ministry

The church’s website noted that the Women's Ministry at Grace Walk Church is passionate about witnessing all ladies learn and develop their identity in Jesus. They explained that they work hard to make a place for women to mentor other ladies.

In addition, as explained on the website, they seek to establish a venue where ladies could live out biblical love in all relationships and feel God’s love and presence.

Moreover, the website posted that they encourage women to join their meetings every second Saturday of the month to have brunch, fellowship, and encouragement as they walk with Jesus.

According to them, they offer free childcare for mothers from zero to nine years old so they can attend the gathering.

More importantly, the church emphasized the Scripture in Hebrews 10:24-25 which says, “And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works.” The verse added that people should not neglect to gather just like the habit of others.

It emphasized that Believers should empower each other as the day comes.

Empowering Women

The Canon Law Society of India website revealed that women are unique gifts from God. They explained that the Bible says ladies are as creative, sensitive, merciful, wise, and gifted as men.

In addition, the website clarifies that empowering women in the church does not mean the ladies are to be in supreme authority. But, they said women’s empowerment means they should have been given equal participation in decision-making in every life matter.

As further mentioned, they knew a lot of men who fought to redeem women’s rights in the Church and tried to practice an equal understanding of women.

Bible's Empowered Women

The website highlighted that God made man and woman in His image and assigned them to rule over the earth. In the Old Testament, they featured women who had a vital part in the salvation of history.

According to the website, the Hebrew midwives, Shiprah and Puah, bravely disobeyed the king’s order to kill the male babies of Hebrew women. The Bible noted that they became saviors of many Hebrew babies due to their refusal of oppression.

They added that there were three other brave ladies who disobeyed the king to save the life of Moses. These are his mother, his sister Miriam, and the Pharaoh’s daughter.

Moreover, they revealed that Judith, another woman in the Bible, took the courage to rebuke the council of elders with her wisdom and prudence. She rebuked them for their lack of dedication to the covenant connection with God and challenged their decision.

The website said that Judith is a dedicated daughter of Israel that took up the mission of saving Israel. She was recognized as blessed among all the women of the earth, as stressed on the website.
