Highlands Church will celebrate its 25th anniversary on Sunday, March 26.

The church’s website announced that it would be a special weekend of services as they thank God in His works to transform lives, bring healing, and make followers of Jesus.

Besides, they highlighted that they now call their campus home from a handful of individuals meeting in a living room in 1998 to the campus. They emphasized that God has been faithful, allowing them to grow and provide for their needs.

Simple Mission

The church mentioned its simple mission: to Love God and others. Also, they said that they seek to make disciples.

At Highlands Church, they worship God through singing songs and prayer, as noted on the website. They conduct Bible studies and learn how to live them out.

Moreover, the church desires to help all people level their connection with Jesus Christi. They envision assisting families in growing in their spiritual walk and dynamically serving their community.

In addition, the website pointed out that they offer active programs that their kids, students, and people with special needs could enjoy. The church also provides opportunities such as small groups for every generation and stage of life.

More importantly, they stressed that there is a place for everyone and their family at Highlands.

Church's Vision

In another section, Highlands Church emphasized that it is a part of their desire to serve their community. They stated they want to be a church of Christians that goes out of their walls and serves their neighbors.

According to them, they envision sharing Christ’s love through offering the needs of others.

Moreover, the church formed the Highlands Care Team to serve to elderly, widows, disabled, and vulnerable people. They said that they had extended their efforts throughout the northeast Valley.

Besides, they mentioned that their volunteers provide help using their skills and abilities. Some of the services they offer are prayer, visitations, Stephen Ministry, and giving out meals, as posted on the website.

Christian Family Care

The same website pointed out the church works with Christian Family Care (CFC) to help in empowering families and serve kids at risk to represent Jesus Christ.

The CFC website emphasized that they desire to see a future in which every kid is loved and cultivated in a Christ-centered family. Their efforts are focused on adaptation, foster care, and for pregnant women.

As further explained, they believe kids of all ages need loving families and a place they can call home. They added that they provide a secure, nurturing, temporary home to children suffering in crisis.

Moreover, CFC noted that they provide counseling and support to pregnant women. They stated that they do not judge them and keep their record private.

More importantly, they highlighted that the CFC serves the children as they empower families. They explained that every part of their program ensures the children and families can feel Christ’s love.

The website emphasized that they want to make sure they can give hope to these vulnerable individuals for a brighter future.
