McDowell Mountain Community Church to host date night for parents, watch over kids

McDowell Mountain Community Church will host a date night for parents on Friday, Dec. 2, from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The church added that it will watch over the parents' kids as they go on the date.

Date Nite

McDowell Mountain Community Church will host a date night for parents, while their kids will be allowed to stay and play at the church as announced through its website

It encouraged couples to reserve their spots for a prepared Date Nite Out Packet.

The church shared it wants spouses to enjoy each other’s company.

McDowell Mountain Community Church informed all that it would try its best to help organize a date night. 

It took care of how to pick a restaurant, an activity, and some conversation starters.

Date Nite Out allowed parents to drop off their kids from 6 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. and enjoy time together. A link was provided for the event's registration.

The church also announced that packets would be available if spouses wanted to go on a Date Nite Out before or after Friday, Dec. 2.

The packets became available for pick-up at Trailhead on Monday, Nov. 28, and will can be picked up until Dec. 2 during business hours.

Pancakes, PJs 

McDowell Mountain Community Church will serve pancakes and PJs for kids as their parents attend the church's date night.

As shared on the website, it would be a time for children to play, eat, and enjoy fellowship. There will be pancakes, toppings, games, crafts, and more.

The church will require $10 per child and a maximum of $30 per family. It said it will welcome kids from birth to fifth grade.

It is located at 10700 N 124th Street, Scottsdale and worship services happen at 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.

McDowell Mountain Community Church said it is showing the Lord’s love to people in its city and worldwide.

As stated on its website, the Lord blessed this church and empowered it to help address five issues in the world today. These issues are at-risk youth, community development, food, and water crisis, human trafficking, and refugee crisis.
