North Valley Church invited all families to bring their kids to Trunk or Treat, a trick-or-treat event, on Friday, Oct. 28, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. The event is open to the entire community.

Trunk or Treat

North Valley Church will host the annual Trunk or Treat. It provided the details of the event through its website.

The church encouraged everyone to dress up in family-friendly costumes and participate in trick-or-treating by going from truck to truck. Kids can collect candy or other treats, enjoy inflatables, and move from awesome trunk to another.

North Valley Church asked the public to share the news about its Trunk or Treat event.

Volunteers, Donations

As shared in the announcement, North Valley Church would love some extra hands to ensure that Trunk or Treat would be a success. It will accept candy and non-food items donations every Sunday of October leading to this event.

It also requested those interested in showcasing their trucks to sign-up for Trunk or Treat. North Valley Church encouraged vehicle owners to use creativity in decorating their trunks.

Volunteers are welcome to help in the event. Furthermore, the church extended gratitude to all willing to join the Trunk or Treat event.

It also reminded participants that they were responsible for the set-up and breakdown of their vehicles. As shared in the announcement, participants must remove all decorations and trash after the event.

Participants must set up trunks from 5 p.m. until 5:30 p.m., and cars may arrive as early as 4:30 p.m. North Valley Church needs all trunks ready by 5:30 p.m.

Latecomers will not be allowed into the lot. However, the church told everyone who plans to join the Trunk or Treat not to arrive earlier than 4:30 p.m.

North Valley Church wanted to ensure safety during the event. There should be at least one adult to present the trunk for the entire period of Trunk and Treat.

It also suggested that four adults supervise per car trunk so they can make shifts to give candy and enjoy the event. Groups can join the Trunk or Treat event and park together.

North Valley Church required groups to register. Additionally, each trunk needed to bring a minimum of 100 pieces of pre-wrapped and sealed candies to hand out.

All trunks must be self-sufficient because North Valley Church will not provide any source of electricity. The church also welcomes donations of candies. It will distribute the candies on the trunk as needed.

Nonetheless, participants must bring the required number of candies for starting Trunk or Treat. Since this is a family-friendly event, scary music, images, and props are not allowed in the venue.
