Phoenix Bible Church to start spring break

Phoenix Bible Church (PBC) will start its spring break Vacation Bible School from Monday to Thursday, March 13 to March 16.

The church’s website mentioned that they partnered with friends from First Baptist Church (FBC) Amarillo to offer a safe and fun venue for the children during the event.

Besides, they said that they would teach the children about Jesus and prepare exciting games for them. As added on the website, it would be an excellent opportunity to make new friends.

The church would also offer delicious snacks. They mentioned that members could register their kids from four years old to grade five.

PBC Kids

The church explained its weekly curated lesson for the children in another section. They stated that PBC Kids are using the Wonder Ink curriculum this semester.

In the lessons, they see Sunday as the beginning to spark curiosity and lead them on their walk of faith through God’s wonder.

Moreover, they emphasized that it all starts with “wonder.” They explained that Ink is God’s truth engraved on their hearts. Every week, they remind the children of God’s Big story of salvation, the Gospel’s hope, and the people in the Bible.

According to them, they use Biblical language and their identity in Jesus. They noted that the church is still working on memorizing the books of the Bible.

The FBC website highlighted that they minister to children from first to sixth grades. They explained that they train them for their lifelong walk with Jesus.

Besides, they added that conducting a VBS is a way to invite others who do not commonly go to church to attend and get involved. They noted that it is a way of creating relationships with others and Jesus Christ.

In addition, the website states that VBS provides various ways for the entire members to participate in the church’s program.

More importantly, they emphasized that the congregation needs to be part of the VBS activity because they are responsible for strengthening and training kids and teenagers to obey God.
