Wesley United Methodist Church in Phoenix, Arizona said it is set to raise funds for its ministries.

On a Facebook post on Tuesday, July 26, the church said it launched a donation drive to help ministries and churches.

According to the church, donations will make possible ministries like its cooling or outreach center.

In the same post, the church also provided the link where the public could donate.

Bible Study, Small Group

The website shared that small groups have settings for the facilitator and group members, stories from the Bible and open dialogue, are relationship-driven and based on collective needs,  focused on dialogue, have a beginning date but no end date, and ideally contain a small group of participants (3-15 is ideal). For the outcome, it expects that mature disciples produce more disciples.

Church’s Beliefs, Worship Service

The Wesley United Methodist Church's Facebook page lists a number of its core principles, including Christ-centeredness, respect, communication with everyone, hospitality, community, maintaining relationships both inside and outside the church, training, and leaders' persistence.

According to the website, the church's physical services were resumed.

According to the church, those who intend to attend in person are asked to observe precautionary measures, including wearing face masks, keeping a six-foot physical distance, and presenting a signed Worship Covenant.

The church said that if people wish to continue watching worship online after the weekly in-person services have ended, they can keep doing so by posting the worship services to their Facebook and YouTube accounts.

More Churches Offer Bible Lessons

Furthermore, Tanner Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church said it also offered weekly bible lessons via webinar.

The Tanner Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church's website states that those unable to attend the neighborhood bible study group might benefit from an online webinar bible study.

Additionally, it stated that the regular Thursday at 7 p.m. A bible study webinar is held.

Participants who are interested can fill out a registration form on the church's website.
