The Atlanta Chamber Winds is set to serenade the public in a musical concert, according to the First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta.

In a Facebook post on Friday, March 25, the First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta invited the public to join Sunday, April 3 for a musical concert.

The public is invited to attend at 3 p.m., according to the church,  on the third of April, the Atlanta Chamber Winds will perform Mozart's "Serenade in E-flat," Dvorak's "Slavonic Dance No. 9 in B-flat Major," and compositions by Söderberg.

This Concerts@First event will be livestreamed and broadcast in person, according to the church.

Church’s ‘Living Theology’

The First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta is accepting applicants for a two-year "Living Theology" program for those interested in learning more about their faith and spiritual life.

The "Living Theology" program is open for applicants until Sunday, April 10, according to a Facebook post from the First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta on Tuesday, March 22.

Friends, family, work, anxiety, hope, desire, and fear are all linked to faith and spirituality in the Living Theology Program, according to the church.

This two-year curriculum is open to anybody who wants to learn more about their faith and spiritual life, according to the church.

Counseling Center

The public was invited to the First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta's celebration of the Samaritan Counseling Center of Atlanta's 20 years of service.

According to a Facebook post by the First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta on Monday, March 21, the Samaritan Counseling Center of Atlanta was held on Thursday, March 31.

The church said the Atlanta Samaritan Counseling Center commemorated its 20th anniversary with a delicious breakfast buffet and a special presentation.

Interested attendees can use this website to purchase tickets, reserve seats, and participate in the celebration, according to the church.

Breakfast Gatherings

The First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta requested volunteers to assist with Sunday Prayer Breakfasts in March.

On Saturday, March 12, the First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta announced on Facebook that it is looking for volunteers for Sunday Prayer Breakfast activities in Fifield Hall in March.

Volunteers provided food and hospitality to those in need in the neighborhood, according to the church's post.

The arrival time is 6 a.m., according to the First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta. By 8 a.m., the cleanup had been done.

Church’s Ministry Training

Beginning Sept. 12, the First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta will host a new Stephen Ministry Training.

On Friday, March 18, the church announced on Facebook that a new Stephen Ministry Training cohort will begin on Monday evenings beginning Sept. 12.

They can learn the concepts and skills needed to provide high-quality, Christ-centered emotional and spiritual care to others, according to the church.
