Atlanta Dream Center Church announced that it had accomplished its target goals for 2022. The church revealed on its page that about 175 people received Christ, over 600 locals recovered from certain addictions and issues, and new ministries had been established.

“We have seen 175 people come into our church and give their life to Jesus. That is 20 over our goal set at the beginning of the year. That is 175 people who were not walking with God and committed to Him to follow Christ all the days of their lives,” Atlanta Dream Center Church said.

According to the church website, the Christian community decided to help more people and connect them to Christ. This year, they gave an invitation to every event, service, and ministry.

To date, the church said it is still praying and deciding its goal for 2023, per the website.

Recovery from Addiciton, Other Issues

Currently, Atlanta Dream Center Church has two transitional homes, four outreach staff, and a record number of over 600 people off the street, out of addiction, and walking toward God, the page bared.

Some people could attend church, receive salvation, and get baptized, while others never met the community face-to-face, as Atlanta Dream helped them recover, the site reads.

To do this, the Christian community used its Thursday Night ministries, transitional home, many partners, and a particular organization, the ‘Luv Hub,” run by a church member, per the website,

Atlanta Dream Center Church aims to see people be transformed by Jesus, get help out of their addiction or homelessness and see them back in the ministry, the accomplishment page said.

New Ministries Established

Among the ministries established this year are transitional housing, faith groups, 70 hours of miracles, coats for kids, Delta Baskets, and Christmas for 400, among others, per the site.

Transitional Housing

Atlanta Dream Center Church opened up two apartments to transition men and women out of homelessness into a church community and into the needed help to get out of addiction and homelessness.

It said its transitional home has been the driving force to see more men and women encounter Jesus, grow in their faith, and walk out of their God dreams.

Groups

The church has always been a place of outreach, but this year it was  focused on how it can see members grow. Men and women from different walks of life are now meeting weekly to fellowship in other groups led by church members. This new ministry has spurred growth in the church this year, per its website.

70 Hours of Miracles

Pastor Paul went homeless for 70 hours in May 2022 in celebration of his 70th birthday, Pastor Paul, his son Pastor Tommy and the outreach team at the church, the announcement said.

Coats for Kids

Convoy of Hope donated thousands of jackets to the church. It was distributed to children in public schools, neighborhoods, and section 8 housing throughout Atlanta in March, per the statement.

Delta Baskets

Delta Airlines donated 180 thanksgiving baskets to the church, which were presented to 180 families throughout the city, the page revealed.

Christmas for 400

Along with the Christian View, the church handed out toys to hundreds of children to bring joy to them this season, the site said.
