Lead Pastor’s Executive Assistant

A lead pastor's executive assistant or office manager is needed by the Atlanta First United Methodist Church.

On Tuesday, June 7, the United Methodist Church announced on Facebook that it was looking to hire either an office manager or an executive assistant to the senior pastor.

According to the church's posting, it is seeking an applicant who is highly motivated, loves all people, enjoys learning, is proficient in office technology, and desires to join a dynamic team devoted to the church's mission of worshiping God, serving others, growing together, and engaging Atlanta and beyond.

The executive assistant to the pastor or office manager is the church's primary point of contact for the lead pastor (EA). The head pastor, members of the congregation, church staff, and members of the community can all reach out to the EA as their primary point of contact.

The EA is also in charge of the management and organization of the lead pastor's office, which includes, but is not limited to, planning, coordination, travel, budgeting, reimbursements, the leadership group, and leading worship.

This is a full-time hybrid position, according to the church's posting, and it calls for a love for all of God's people, a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work both virtually and in person.

According to the church, those who have inquiries should call 404.524.6614, ext. 102.
