Ben Hill United Methodist Church in Atlanta, Georgia announced that it is set to hold fall bible study classes this year.

The church provided the details for the classes via a Facebook post.

Everyone can participate in the Fall Bible Study schedule, according to the event website

The church said they can enroll in Too Heavy a Yoke - Black Women and the Burden of Strength, taught by special guest Dr. Candance Lewis, President-Dean of Gammon Theological Seminary.

It added that if they want to learn more about the burdens sometimes carried by black women, start or continue one of the highly popular Disciple classes, take a beginner class for new Christians, take the more advanced Spiritual Warfare class, or take any of the other classes offered.

Ben Hill United Methodist Church said all classes will be online and to download the Fall Bible Study Class Schedule with integrated registration links, they must visit the embedded links to register.

They can also access the online registration form straight from the same page as well.

The church said they have experienced a lot. Make the most of the upcoming fall season to immerse yourself even deeper in God's Word, which is all they really need to persevere and triumph, it added.

Rev. Dr. Derrick Rhodes

According to the church's website, Rev. Dr. Derrick Rhodes serves as the pastor of Ben Hill United Methodist Church.

Rhodes received a Ph.D. in ministry from Drew University. The Regent University School of Business and Leadership awarded him a Ph.D. in organizational leadership after he had finished his academic work there, the church stated.

The church said that Rhodes is an accomplished author who has written a number of books and scholarly articles.

He is currently serving as Senior Pastor at Ben Hill United Methodist Church, it continued. According to the church, Zina Carter, who has been Rhodes' closest friend for more than 40 years, is now his wife.

The church claims that the couple's two blessed sons are Steven and Sentelle.

Ben Hill United Methodist Church’s Vision Statement

The vision statement, according to the church, was created to better reflect the manner of life and work of Ben Hill's members and ministry.

A component of the church's overarching vision is accepted by each Vision Area as they continue to live it out, the statement continued, giving the overall vision more significance and relevance.

Anyone can utilize the new Vision Fusion and icons to see the names of the new Vision Areas as well as the locations of each ministry.

According to the church's website, Ben Hill United Methodist Church seeks to develop disciples of Jesus Christ by bringing people together to engage with God and one another wherever they are and across generations.

Wesley Chapel, a new center of activity for Methodism, was established in 1853 and is located in the Niskey Lake district of Fulton County, Georgia, according to the church's website.

According to the church, among the original members were John Waits, Sidney Robins, and David Waits. It also stated that David Waits was a well-known musical director.

The church said he sang in both the church and the camp gatherings.
