Buckhead Church in Atlanta, Georgia, invited its members and the public to serve nonprofits through its "Be Rich Serve Opportunities" until Saturday, Dec. 31.
According to the church's announcement page, the initiative is geared at helping nonprofit organizations serve locals and communities in need.
Interested members and individuals may choose a schedule and a nonprofit at Buckhead Church's website. Among the volunteer jobs available are helping in winter camps and kitchens and sorting medical supplies, as per the post.
The church also provided a link for the list of in-person service projects.
There is also a flexible service project, which is open for families and first-timers and can be completed anytime. Most of them can also be done anywhere.
The page said examples of activities are toy drives and the creation or building of items.
Buckhead Church
Sundays at Buckhead Church were said to make faith applicable to every stage of life.
Members and visitors are urged to wear their masks and sanitize their hands beside the entrance before entering the worship rooms, whether for children's Sunday school or adult worship service and programs.
Buckhead Church holds services at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. The live service includes instruction and live music and lasts about 60 minutes. There is no need to register. On the other side, live online services start at 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. and start to be watched on demand at 4:00 p.m., the website revealed.
Kids
At 9 a.m. or 11 a.m., children from six weeks old to pre-K will have the opportunity to play, sing, and hear a Bible story. According to the church, preschoolers should understand that God created and loves them. Special needs children are also welcome—no need to sign up, per the page.
Waumba Land Online has entertaining music videos and valuable parenting information for those who decide to allow their children to participate online—starting on demand every Sunday at 7 a.m., the site revealed.
Elementary
Children are being prepared for the future via UpStreet. They start at 9 or 11 in the morning. It involves activities like games, entertaining music, tales, and time spent in small groups. Special needs children are welcome. It does not require registration.
The website said locals who sign up online might check UpStreet Online for entertaining music, games, and useful parenting tools—starting on demand every Sunday at 7 a.m.
Middle School, High School
Middle school is where students discover their faith. It begins in a large group with enjoyable activities, worship, and teaching before splitting into smaller groups for conversation and community building. Special needs students are welcome, the website revealed.
For high school students, the church offers music, a message, and small group time at InsideOut so that students can develop with their classmates. No need to sign up, as per the page.
Buckhead Church is part of the North Point Ministries. In 1995, North Point Ministries, Inc. was established to build churches that unchurched people adore, per the website.
Since its founding, NPM has expanded from one church to eight in metro Atlanta and built a network of more than 150 partner churches worldwide, the site bared.
Each week, more than 50,000 people visit its churches in the Atlanta region in person or online. Over one million monthly visitors browse its websites to read sermons and leadership messages, the page reads.
Though its strategies have changed over time, its goal has remained the same: encouraging people to follow Jesus, the page said.
