Christ Church of Atlanta will hold its Women’s Growing Faith Together (GIFT) Fellowship on Monday, March 13, at the Bridle Room at Peachtree Hills Place.
The church’s website announced that Rev. C.J. Ausmus, the Associate Rector, would be their speaker and discuss “The Future of the Church.”
They added that he would also reveal the vision for Christ Church.
Besides, the church mentioned that participants would discover how they could be a bridge of hope for the city and the larger church community.
Women’s GIFT Fellowship
The Adult Ministry Section explained that GIFT Fellowship is a monthly activity for female members every second Monday. They said that often men are also interested in joining the event.
During the event, the church said participants worship, pray, and listen to speakers to inform and motivate them. They added that they also welcome visitors to join the fellowship.
Ladies Ministries
Christ Church of Atlanta posted various opportunities for women to get involved in the church in the same section.
The church highlighted the Scripture from Colossians 3:16, which says, “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom.” The verse added that they could sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.”
Meanwhile, the church posted that they have a women’s Bible Study every Monday at 10 a.m. They revealed that the church started this activity in the Fall of 2018 as a primary program of its Women’s Ministry.
Moreover, they mentioned that sharing their love of God's Word is their foundational tool to experience joy in their fellowship, giving, and service.
Besides, they announced that they gather on the first, third, and fourth Monday mornings at the Parish House.
In addition, the church also hosts Sunday Ladies Lunch every second Sunday of the month. They said they invite all ladies to this fellowship for great food and meeting. The church posted that they meet at nearby restaurants to hang out with each other and meet new friends.
Anglican Church in North America
According to the church’s About page, Christ Church of Atlanta is part of the Anglican Church in North America. They added that they are also a member of the Anglican Diocese of the South.
In addition, the Anglican Church in North America website explains that Anglicanism is a body of Believers worldwide that responds to God’s revelation through Jesus Christ.
They mentioned that it brings the authority of the Scripture, historic faith, and the wonder of structured prayer together.
As further stated, Anglicanism is founded in tradition but has contemporary practice. They noted that they are one in substance but different in expression.
The website pointed out that members of Anglicanism are a global family expressing their faith in local communities.
More importantly, the same website revealed that Anglican Church in North America focuses on serving the underserved. They believe that God’s heart is for the vulnerable and under-resourced people.
They mentioned that this belief motivates them to serve justice, compassion, and reconciliation.
