Excel Church hosts homecoming

Excel Church hosted its homecoming 2023 on Sunday, Feb. 26.

The church’s Facebook page noted that Pastor Mike Darnell delivered a message, and they prepared a program for its members and guests. 

They added that they had two services, one at 9 a.m. and the other one at 11 a.m. 

About Pastor Mike Darnell

Excel Church’s website revealed that Darnel was the founder and the lead pastor of the Excel Church. He said he was involved in drug dealing, gang groups, and living in a single-parent home in the inner cities.

According to the website, everything changed when he encountered Jesus Christ. The Gospel of Jesus Christ restored him. They added that God had given him the vision to see people redeemed with new life regardless of their situation.

In addition, they mentioned that he is a rising voice to the world and proclaiming the message of Jesus Christ to many countries and individuals across the globe. They highlighted that God has been using him to speak to leaders, pastors, and members of different generations. 

Besides, Darnell spoke with people of different titles and nationalities in various areas in the U.S. and many countries, as noted on the website.

Moreover, the website stated that he is married to Ghilaine Darnell, and God has blessed them with two beautiful kids.

Also, they posted that he was born and raised in the inner city communities of Greenville, SC.

The website emphasized that Darnell believes God wants people to have the “Life 2 the Max.”

In another section, the Excel Church posted its code. They mentioned that they bring love to others. They believe that Love never fades and God first loved them so they could learn to love others. 

According to them, they would follow God and make the first move to love others. 

In addition, the church brings honor. They explained that they would respect people above, below, and on their level and treat them as an essential part of the body of Christ. They mentioned that their efforts are worth it to make others feel appreciated and needed.

Moreover, Excel Church goes above and beyond its call of duty. They said that they make this effort to be prepared for anything. The church explained that for them, all things matter, and the details make an impact.

More importantly, the church emphasized that God was on their side and could do anything. They said that they bring Big faith and set huge goals. They noted that they believed they could succeed in their dreams and watch God work.

In addition, the same website stated that Excel Church brings their passion. They strive to serve through God-given abilities working in them, as mentioned on the website.

Besides, the church’s code includes bringing transformation. They said they are passionate about every opportunity to serve and impact the world.

According to the website, Excel Church is generous. They explained that they were ready to help others. They highlighted that they often provide generously through every aspect of their life, understanding God’s compassion that abounds on their behalf.
