First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta announced a new issue of Focal Point magazine.

The church made its announcement on a Facebook post on Thursday, July 7.

According to the church’s post, it opted to look inside and share the tale of how the church works to embody one of its guiding principles, radical hospitality. 

They can pick up a copy of the magazines at any of the information desks within the church, it added.

Meanwhile, the church said they will start showing up in mailboxes this week. 

According to the church, it cannot wait to tell the public about it.

Memorial Services

According to Atlanta's First Presbyterian Church, the memorial services were held to offer spiritual and emotional support.

First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta advised people who have lost a loved one to get in touch with the Care Ministry if they need emotional support or help planning funerals and memorial services, according to one of the church's Facebook posts.

Anyone with inquiries about services, receptions, or interment in the Memorial Garden may email Rev. Rob Sparks at rsparks@firstpresatl.org, according to a note posted by the church.

Sunday School Summertime

According to the First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta, there will still be summertime Sunday school options accessible for kids and families.

The church confirmed via a Facebook post that it still provides Sunday school alternatives for kids and families.

First through fifth students are welcome to Messy Church starting at 10 a.m., according to a post from the church. for fascinating activities like volunteer work and other things.

According to the church, daycare will open at 9 a.m. The start time for Godly Play is 9:10 a.m. accompanied by a parent session that begins at 10 a.m. and takes place at a library until noon.

First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta acknowledged the need for daycare for younger children.

The church claimed that the attendees were expected.

Church Couples

Thanks to the First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta, there is now a new meetup group for couples with young children.

On a Facebook post from the First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta, it announced the launch of a new couples meetup.

On Sept. 10 at 10 a.m., the church announced that it will be open to the public to engage in joint recreation at the church playground.

The church, as they were told, advised them to take advantage of the chance to interact with other families and allow their kids to burn off some much-needed energy.

Visitors can pre-register at bit.ly/3to8SUQ if they want to take part.

According to a post from the church, parents are invited to chat and interact every Sunday at 10 a.m.
