The First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta in Georgia has invited the public to join their parents' classes this June and July.

The church made the announcement in a Facebook post on Saturday, July 2.

According to the church’s post, it invites the parents every Sunday at 10 a.m. to spend some time talking and socializing. 

The class, which will meet from June to July, is open to all parents, although it is specifically designed for those with young children in primary school, the church said.

New Meetup for Couples

Couples with kids under four now have a new meetup group thanks to the First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta.

The First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta announced the opening of a new meetup for couples in a Facebook post on Tuesday, June 28.

The church said that it was inviting the public to attend on Sept. 10 at 10 a.m. to play together at the church playground.

According to the church, it urged them to take advantage of the opportunity to mingle with other families and let their kids burn off some much-needed energy.

Church Services

The purpose of the memorial services, according to Atlanta's First Presbyterian Church, was to provide spiritual and emotional support.

In a Facebook post, the First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta urged those who have lost a loved one to contact the Care Ministry if they require emotional support or assistance organizing funerals and memorial services.

According to a notice posted by the church, anybody with questions regarding services, receptions, or interment in the Memorial Garden may contact Rev. Rob Sparks via email at rsparks@firstpresatl.org.

School Alternatives

The First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta reports that there will still be Sunday school alternatives available for children and families this summer.

The church revealed on Saturday, June 18, through a Facebook post that it continues to offer Sunday school options for children and families.

According to a post from the church, first through fifth graders are invited to Messy Church starting at 10 a.m. for exciting activities like community service projects and more.

The church stated that daycare will start at 9 a.m. Godly Play is scheduled to begin at 9:10 a.m. coupled with a parent's session that starts at 10 a.m. and lasts until noon within a library.

The use of childcare for younger children was also acknowledged by the First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta.

The attendees, according to the church, were anticipated.
