In a Facebook post on Thursday, May 12, the First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta has encouraged the public to join PCUSA Mission Coworker Cindy Corell and Fr. Jean Madoché Vil as they discuss resilience and strength of Haiti's people.
According to the church, the speakers also talked about the work God continues to do there.
The church said the country of Haiti has suffered earthquakes, a presidential assassination, and other crises.

They gather every Sunday at 4:30 p.m. The youth group gathered in the choir rehearsal room before the youth group, according to the church's website.
The church claims that no prior experience is necessary and that everyone is invited to attend.

Last Saturday at 8 p.m., the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra performed at the First Presbyterian Church.
The church said the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra performed Saint-Saens' Organ Symphony and Poulenc's Organ Concerto under the direction of Jerry Hou and coordinated by Jens Korndörfer.
