According to the church's website, the Flower Ministry, which is a part of the Care Ministry, covers a variety of ways to serve the church family and community outside of these walls.

Volunteers create beautiful floral arrangements for the sanctuary every week, according to the church, bringing the beauty of nature into worship.

Following the worship session, volunteers dismantle the large arrangements, which are then delivered by another group of volunteers to members who are homebound, recovering from surgery, grieving, or celebrating a milestone.

Members can also sponsor Sanctuary flowers for $250 in honor or remembrance of a loved one, with the dedication appearing in the print and online newsletter.

They can also email Pam Covington at pamcovington1929@gmail.com or call (404) 355-5801 to be partnered with another volunteer and taught how to arrange flowers for Sunday worship or smaller bouquets for delivery.
