In a Facebook post on Saturday, Feb. 26, the First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta announced an opening position of a new director of the preschool.
According to the First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta’s post, for children ages 18 months to Kindergarten, the director will oversee a developmentally appropriate and stimulating curriculum.
All duties and job activities are carried out in accordance with First Presbyterian Preschool's philosophy and standards, as well as the Cognia Standards for Early Childhood Programs, according to the church.

Church’s Musical Concert
On Monday, March 7, the First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta welcomed the public to attend a musical event.
The First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta invited the public to a musical brilliance with the Georgian Chamber Players on Monday, March 7 at 7:30 p.m. in a Facebook post on Monday, Feb. 21.
The Georgian Chamber Players will perform Brahms' "Piano Quintet," Haydn's "Gypsy Trio," and Smetana's "Moldau Symphonic Poem" for an afternoon of musical brilliance, according to the church's website.

‘Masterworks Concert’
On Wednesday, Feb. 23, the public was invited to the "Masterworks Concert" at Atlanta's First Presbyterian Church.
Lead flutist Christina Smith and the Georgia State University Symphony Orchestra performed in the "Masterworks Concert," according to the church's announcement.

According to the First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta's website, Michael Palmer conducted the University Symphony Orchestra in a performance of music from three centuries, including George Walker's String Lyric, Haydn's Symphony #104, J.S. Bach's Brandenburg Concerto, and Cello Concerto by Bach Bach's Violin Concerto.
The church said Christina Smith, Principal Flutist of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra performed with the USO in Bach's Orchestral Suite #2.

Church’s History
According to the church's website, the Woodruff Arts Center is close to the First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta, which was founded in 1848 and is located at the crossroads of Peachtree and 16th Streets.
