A free little pantry and game spot was installed in front of the Neighborhood Church in Atlanta, Georgia.
In a Facebook post on Saturday, Oct. 16, the Neighborhood Church said that the Girl Scout Troop had created a free little pantry and game spot for the community in front of the church in McLendon Avenue.
The church said the Girl Scout Troop built the pantry and game spot to share resources around the neighborhood.
However, the Neighborhood Church noted that to sustain the pantry and game spot, it needed the community's help.
According to the post, the people may help by sharing non-perishable items in the free little pantry that they think the people in the neighborhood will use and enjoy.
Meanwhile, they can also share games through the game spot, the post stated. The community can also borrow a game that looks fun and suitable for them, it added.
The church also called for volunteers to help sort the pantry, which could be done weekly, monthly, or one-time only.

Other Food Pantry, Refreshments in the Neighborhood
Meanwhile, the Druid Hills Presbyterian Church was also looking for volunteers to help at Intown Collaborative Ministries' food bank last Sept. 22.
According to its Facebook post, the Druid Hills Presbyterian Church has asked volunteers to help out at the food pantry established by the Intown Collaborative Ministries.

Meanwhile, every Sunday, the Central Presbyterian Church in Atlanta, Georgia, is looking for volunteers to distribute refreshments to the community.
The Central Presbyterian Church posted on Facebook on Thursday, Sept. 23 that the Central's Courtyard Ministry is looking for volunteers to join them every Sunday in the Atlanta area.
According to the church's post, the local mission and devoted Central members will share refreshments with the neighborhood downtown every Sunday.

The church bared that it has many conversations, questions, and time spent sitting in the discomfort of the complex parts of life.
The Neighborhood Church said it is all trying to figure out life together. It is also believed that the church can be part of that differently from the way a lot of people have experienced.
The church said it is built from the ground up to embody the love of Jesus in a wall-shattering, life-changing, authentic way.
According to its website, the church's core mission is to restore through the relationship with God and community. The church also expressed support to LGBTQIA+ and against racism.
The Neighborhood Church believed that the people should not have to go through life alone or afraid.
It underscored that it takes other people together to experience life's natural richness and fullness, and they believe it takes a neighborhood.
