Glenn Memorial United Methodist Church to hold auditions for youth play

The Glenn Memorial United Methodist Church in Atlanta, Georgia, will hold auditions for Glenn's youth play.

In a Facebook post on Thursday, Nov. 18, the Glenn Memorial United Methodist Church announced that it will hold auditions for Glenn youth play on Monday, Nov. 29, until Wednesday, Dec. 1.

The Glenn Memorial said the auditions will be held from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. in the church school building.

According to the church, the parents' information meetings will be set during those times.

Parents and children were encouraged to sign up for those interested in youth play.

The church's post announced that the performance dates will be from Feb. 25 until 27.

Glenn Memorial's Youth Fellowship

According to the church's website, the Glenn Memorial United Methodist Church's Youth Fellowship will meet in the Youth and Activities Building on Sunday nights from 6:00 p.m.

A meal, singing sessions, and fun games were part of the church's celebration for middle and high school students.

The church stated they would also have fellowship and learn more about loving God and neighbor, customary for midnight events.

According to the church, the worship service is an important part of Glenn Youth's identity.

Its mission is to further God's kingdom by loving and helping local and global neighbors, focusing on local relationships.

Youth Development

According to the church's website, the Glenn Youth is dedicated to providing a safe atmosphere for adolescents in grades 6 through 12 to be themselves, ask questions, have fun, and learn.

The church understood the value of youth development and worked hard to provide a friendly environment. It also stressed the significance of developing mutually trusting connections.

Everyone is welcome and accepted by the Glenn Youth organization, which works to aid others in our community and around the world. The church expressed concern for the health and safety of the community.

Glenn Memorial's Food Drive

For the holiday season, the Glenn Memorial United Methodist Church will organize an advent food drive.

Glenn Memorial United Methodist Church encouraged the public to gather and give food to people in need during the Advent season in a Facebook post on Tuesday, Nov. 16.

The food drive will accept all non-perishable foods, according to the church.

It was primarily in need of cereal and non-perishable milk, according to the church's post.

According to the church, the advent season is a period of anticipation and preparation for the Christmas gift.

The church announced that the donations could be dropped up at the Glenn Memorial United Methodist Church at any time or directly at Intown Collaborative Ministries.

Church's Wreath-Making Event

The Glenn Memorial United Methodist Church is hosting an Advent wreath-making event for the public on Sunday, Nov. 28.

In a Facebook post on Thursday, Nov. 11, the church invited the public to engage in an advent wreath crafting initiative for the forthcoming Advent and Christmas seasons.

The event will take place in the amphitheater on Sunday, Nov. 28, from 4 p.m. until 5 p.m. if there is any inclement weather.
