The Inman Park United Methodist Church in Atlanta, Georgia, has invited the public for a "Friendsgiving" event on Friday, Nov. 19.
In a Facebook post, the Inman Park United Methodist Church said adults are welcome to join the event at the Yates Home on Friday at 7 p.m.
The Methodist church also encouraged the participants to bring a dish, food meals, and drinks to share with the team. It added that meat would also be provided.
The church advised participants to sign up before the event, according to the post.
According to the post, those interested participants may contact Lisa Yates until Sunday, Nov. 14.

Church's History
According to their Facebook page, the Inman Park United Methodist Church is a historic church with a 21st-century perspective, located two miles east of downtown Atlanta in the Inman Park neighborhood.
According to the church's website, Inman Park was Atlanta's first "garden suburb," and Inman Park United Methodist Church is a historic church in the neighborhood.
The website shared that the church was formed in 1866 and is still operational today. The Inman Park United Methodist Church was dedicated on April 17, 1898.
The Inman Park United Methodist Church said Willis Franklin Denny II designed it in the Romanesque style and built it out of Stone Mountain granite.
Parents' Night Out and Youth Lock-in
The Inman Park United Methodist Church will conduct a parents' night out and youth lock-in event on Friday, Nov. 12.
The Methodist Church said on its website that on Nov. 12 from 6:30 p.m., parents could drop off their children for a parents' night out. It is open until 8:30 p.m.
Dinner would be supplied for the children, according to the church. With the support of the Inman Park United Methodist Church Youth, the children will also be assigned to help prepare blessing bags and play activities.
According to the church's website, the youth will have a lock-in event from 8:30 p.m. until 8 a.m.
Volunteers will be needed starting at 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m., according to the website. They will assist the parent's night out, including the preparation of a spaghetti meal.
The church also requested the youth lock-in from an available couple (one female and one male who are not youth parents).
According to the post, parents and interested participants can join up until Sunday, Nov. 7.
Meanwhile, it requested blessing bag donations for the community's residents.
The church said volunteers could also help by donating goods for the blessing bags that the children will be putting together for their unsheltered neighbors.
A list of acceptable donations can be found on the church's website, and contributions are needed until Monday, Nov. 8.

Food Drive
Meanwhile, the Inman Park United Methodist Church will have a food drive in October and still accept donations.
In a Facebook post on Wednesday, Oct. 27, the Inman Park United Methodist Church asked for food donations for the food drive.
According to the article, products needed include shelf-stable milk (UHT), instant oatmeal or grits, granola bars, water bottles, fruit cups, tuna packets, canned soup, sandwiches, gallon-sized ziplock bags, plastic grocery bags, snack items, and instant coffee packets.
Food donations can be dropped off at the church or on the back porch of the parsonage through Thursday, Oct. 28.
