The church youth's website noted that they encouraged those who are a parent of a child from grade six to grade 12 to listen to their guest speaker as they discuss their children’s development.

Also, it would motivate them to maximize their influence as parents as they prepare their kids for adulthood.

Besides, the website emphasized that Session One for Parent Roadmap Series was incredible. They added that the church seeks to work with parents to ensure the students be dedicated if following Jesus.

The church admitted that its goal might seem immense for this generation since there are a lot of factors that the middle or high school students pull their attention. They emphasized that this was the right moment for the family and church to work together.

For this reason, Mount Paran counseling ministry partners with Parent Roadmap, as explained on the website.

Session Two for Parent Roadmap

In the church’s video, Pastor Ken Chatham and Pastor West Lutes encouraged parents to attend the second session for the Parent Roadmap. Chatham said the last session was successful since it could motivate parents.

As further noted, he said parents could identify little and high scores of what they are going through as parents of middle or high school students.

In addition, he mentioned that Dr. Richard Flor would be their guest speaker for the second session.

Lutes said that they would have a private discussion with the parents about anxiety, depression, and suicide. He added that this opportunity could allow them to help their teenage kids navigate their feelings by addressing them biblically.

More importantly, on the website, Mount Paran Church’s youth ministry emphasized that they love to work with parents.

In addition, they explained that they find enjoyment in Jesus through discipleship, community, and serving others.

High School at Mount Paran Church

The High School section noted that this ministry is a home away from home for high school students. Mount Paran Church emphasized that they have created a place for these students to feel they belong.

The website announced they gather every other Sunday for their youth service and hold a Bible study every Wednesday night.

Ministry for Grades Six to Eight

Meanwhile, the church’s Middle School ministry understands that this is the season when students are not regarded as kids but not quite as teens yet. They explained that grade six to eight students were caught between two phases.

According to the church, they need something constant to rely on while their environment changes. The Middle School ministry said they help and lead these students through their preteen years.

Also, they mentioned that they guide them to connect the truth of God’s word to their daily lives.

Youth Podcast

The church’s Google Podcasts allow the students to listen and learn from a 20 to 30-minute talk about various topics. These topics include The Unforgivable Sin, What is the Truth, and more.

The church mentioned that this extended access could help the youth learn crucial conversations that could impact their lives.
